COSTS:
First Appointment - $280 (Medicare rebate=$145.25)
Subsequent appointments - $250 (Rebate=$145.25)
Appointments are 50 minutes duration
EMDR Appointments 120 minutes - $480
(EMDR Rebate=$145.25 - Second session can be billed to private health for a rebate if you have this.)
Ten MEDICARE REBATES of $145.25 per session are available each year - with a GP Mental Health Plan or Psychiatrist/ Paediatrician Referral. A review is required after each 6th and 10th session for GP referrals, and every 3 months for Psychiatrist or Paediatrician referrals. (ie three months from the date of your first Psychology appointment after your Psychiatrist referral date.) Five further lower rebates may be available if you have a Chronic Medical Condition.)
